Selective Memory

The Scholar on her first day of preschool for the year

Mihret and I were talking about something (can't remember what...) as we were walking out of her preschool yesterday. In the midst of the conversation, Mihret looked at me, smiled, and said, "See Mama, I'm always right!"

Teasingly I said, "Hmm...what about that one time?"

She stopped and pondered for a minute and then said, "I don't remember that time," and skipped off.

Oh, to have confidence like that!
