Our trip to San Diego

This last weekend, I got to go to Sea World (aka "the 'quarium" or "the show") with Mama and Dada, and I loved it! Mama called it an Oregon day - cloudy and a little wet - but I didn't care and I definitely did NOT need to wear my hood. Dada was wondering if the fish would get all wet in the rain. Silly Dada...

(Just in case you were worried too, there were LOTS of fish and they all like the water. I like water too!)

Waving at the starfish- maybe we can get one for my water table

Dada showing me how to pet a stingray. We both got splashed!

In the middle of Sea World was a huge Sesame Street play area. I saw Elmo, Zoey, and Cookie Monster dancing and I got to play, play, play. I wanted to play in the water area but Mama said that it was too wet outside to play in the water. Huh??? Oh well, there were plenty of "Mama approved" places to play.

Dada and me riding an Elmo "Angel Fish" (could anything be more cool?)

I love bouncing!

And pictures...

After a short trip back to our hotel for lunch and a nap (which I didn't need, but Mama and Dada definitely did), we went back to Sea World to see more fishies and shows. We saw an amazing show where whales jumped in the air and flopped in the water, a silly show where doggies did tricks and ran around a lot, and a funny show where dolphins splashed people. That made me laugh!

I learned a lot while I was at Sea World. For example:

Otters are little

Shamu is BIG!

On Sunday, we went for a walk around the place where we were staying. There were lots of places to climb and explore:

Jack! I'm flying!

Snuggle time with mama

They made me climb all the way up a tall tower to see a "view"

I couldn't find the view, but saw more water. Couldn't I have seen it without climbing? I need to ask Uncle Scott...

We lost Mama every now and then because she was experimenting with her new camera.

Pretty flower, Mama!

But that was okay because Dada and I had lots of important stuff to do while she was busy.

Dada said the fountain made him have to go... too bad he doesn't wear a diaper!

Overall, it was a great weekend and a very fun vacation. I think I'll have to take Mama and Dada back there again some time. Dada said we might do it again this summer- as soon as we find something called "tartar sauce".

I hope we find it soon.
