She's at it again.No idea what this means. As long as she ends up spelling it right, I'm sure all will be well.

Vegas, Baby.. Vegas!

We recently took a family vacation to Las Vegas.

I know..."family vacation" and "Las Vegas" don't seem to go together, but it was the first weekend of March Madness. Okay, you're right...it was also Holy Week, but we did manage to make it out of Sin City for Easter Sunday.

We spent Thursday and Friday with our friends, Daniel and Lynnea Common, and Daniel's sister, Paula.

Evidently people in Las Vegas aren't so good at math...

On Saturday we took a drive through Red Rock Canyon on our way back to Malibu.

Our Las Vegas adventure was fun, but we'll take the beauty of the mountains--and even the desert--over the glitz of Vegas any day.

This Spud's For You

When I was in college, and one of us didn't have a date for the night, we said that that person was "hugging the pumpkin" (don't ask).

So, it was with a little amusement that I came home this afternoon to find out that my daughter would not take a nap unless she could take her potato to bed with her.

So snuggly...

Yup, that's my daughter. Her Lakota name would be "Cuddles with Potatoes". I think we're close to settling the "nature versus nurture" argument.

I guess it could be worse...

The Family Team

Quick update- we have been getting a lot of advice about parenting (some good, others, well...).
